Barn Yard Birthday

I made this for my brother-in-law who owns a ranch. I stamped the chicken wire background stamp on clear accetate using "Stays-On" ink. Then put a straw-like filling behind the window and mounted it to the yellow card. All paper, ink and stamps are Stampin' Up!

Very cute and creative...again! lol :-)
Hayden's first bday was a barnyard theme and for his invited I dressed him up in a cow costume outside, made a red barn invite that had doors that opened up to the info.
When I get around to doing his bday photos for his scrapbook I am going to scraplift this hay idea from you. I think I even saved some of the straw from our yard. We had bales outside for seats and we also spread it everywhere. Shawn was not as enthusiastic about the straw but...lots of fun!!!

maybe I could borrow the chicken wire stamp from you. Unless SU still sells something like that. Let me know - K?

We were at that party. Very fun. I think the chicken wire set was discontinued a few years ago, but you can borrow mine.

Oh, yeah! Well, you know how crazy those parties get with everybody running around and all. Forgive me. I actually haven't looked at those pics in a while. I still need to get Hayden an album. I just haven't found the right one yet. I'll know it when I see it though. :-)
And thanks, I'll let you know when I get to his 1st bday pages. I am soooo behind on their albums, it is not even funny.
Ya know, I haven't even scrapped our Wedding or Honeymoon.

I haven't done our wedding/honeymoon either. In fact, I just bought the album recently. I think it is too sentimental and I don't want to look back and wish I had done it differently...so I just don't do it at all.

SAME HERE! I just don't want to screw it up or like you said do it one way and then wished I had done it differently later. Boy, am I so glad I didn't do my Wedding album when I first started scrapbooking! Can you imagine? :-)

Some of my first pages are pretty funny looking, so I am very glad I didn't start in on something big like my wedding album. Plus there are so many more cute embelishments out now.
