Front and inside of invitation "boarding pass." (It flips up to open)
Wow! It has been a while since I have posted to this blog. Thanks Donna for the encouragement. I needed it today! I've been in a funk this week and haven't been creating much. I did work on Zander's birthday pages for his cowboy party. There are a few spots that still need captions before I will post them. I seem to put off my journaling, but I hope to finish the pages this weekend so I can start on Natalie's birthday pages.
I thought I would post a birthday invite I created a couple years ago when Zander had a train birthday party. The cover design was made by making a paper piecing pattern out of a retired Stampin' Up! train stamp. I know I could have just stamped them and it would have been a lot faster to complete, but those who know me well, know I can't just do anything the easy way! Plus, I really like the paper piecing look for my invites. The inside "Boarding Pass" was obviously done on the computer and did save me some time by not having to hand-write all the details. Thanks for looking!

I am taking inspiration from your wonderful birthday creations. I loved Natalie's princess castle invites you made. Bryanna turns 5 next month and I really want to have a Princess party for her. I don't think I will do a castle but I may do a princess crown or something. Thanks for posting tonight! I love checking your blog to see what you have next. I should start a blog, I just don't really know where to start. Have a great weekend!!
Thanks Donna! I have lots of photos from Natalie's princess party if you need ideas.
Blogging is so much fun...and so easy. You should give it a try. It's easier than you would think. If you can upload photos, then you can blog!
Good jobb
