Graduation Card

A friend of mine from high school lost her husband at Christmas time a few years back leaving her with two young children. As a result, she decided to go back to school and get her degree in teaching at George Fox University. I was invited to her graduation party, but can't make it due to my dad's 60th birthday celebration. Here is the card I made to congratulate her. Sorry about the fuzzy photo, but as you know from my prior post, my camera is now broken. (I hope I get a new one soon.) Paper is Stampin' Up!, the diplpma is Paper Bliss (I think) and of course Prima flowers...love those!

Alyssa, if you want to go to the graduation go, I will be 60 for the next year.

Too bad about your camera, you might check some of the repair shops to see if it could be fixed.

Love ya,

Dad

Thanks, but we've already got the party in the works and I wouldn't want to be the one to mess it up. I've actually been invited to a couple other things that day as well. It's that time of year when everyone is having parties, but we can't always go to everything we are invited to. I'm totally fine with that.

We talked to Adam, our computer guy and he said it would cost as much to repair the camera as it would to replace it since the price has gone down significantly due to the newer cameras with more megapixels.

That is probably true, Our latest digital camera was much less expensive than our previous ones.

I like the flowers too, so much you can do with those to spruce up a page or card in this instance! I like the colors you used too. Nice one Alyssa. (But aren't they all!)
Boy, your December month sounds SO SO busy!
