I think it was while I was making this album that it dawned on me to print enlargements for scrapbooking too! (the photos of the pages are taken at a slight angle which makes them look uneven, but in real life they are straight.)
I really like how this photo turned out. I don't remember why I mounted it on black though...I'll blame it on those pregnancy hormones!
I'll blame those flowers on my hormones too. I think I was looking for something to fill the space and not feeling too creative...apparently! At the top are 2 drawing that Natalie made for Andrea. The left one is a bride and groom (stick figure style) and the other is a wedding cake.
All the little flower girls dressed up like little fairies.
Here's my handsome little Zander at 2 and a half years old. The shot of my dad with all the grandkids is so sweet.

This is my favorite photo I took of all the wee ones. Natalie is on the left and Zander is on the right...with my nieces in the middle. Hayden was in my huge belly!
I didn't get too many shots of the ceremony because I was in the wedding as a bridesmaid (looking lovely in my maternity bridesmaid dress!) The reception was held at the Hotel where my sister worked at the time.

I really like this album. The stick figure drawings are so cute. And the wedding cake looks pretty cool. tfs
I had a lot of fun looking at these albums. It's so much fun to see what people do with wedding photos, I think that they are pretty hard to work with, and you've really given me inspiration!
I love looking on here to see if you have anything new Alyssa! I'll bet your sister's appreciate those albums so much.
This one turned out great too! I love hydraenga's (spelling?).
Both albums are wonderful. What size did you make them?
Thanks Sweetktea! They are both 12x12. Maybe someday I will get brave and work on my own. LOL!
Yeah....me too! I have enough stuff! Now I need to set aside some time. We are coming up on our 10th Wedding Anniversary here in the Fall! Hmmm....maybe I should shoot for then to have it done. That would be a nice gift to ourselves, to be able to look back and remember that time, that day!
I don't have an album yet! Maybe I will start looking! Do you know any stores that have good ones, or do you think order from online?
I would also probably do a 12x12.
I got mine at Michaels...I just had to get one so I could at least have one if I ever got the urge to start on my pages!! LOL! I'm usually pretty picky and it takes a while to find just the right one, but I found one there I liked...and used my coupon of course!
Yeah, I think that's my thing too, I want to find just the right one! Well, the search is on! I have a question too?? Some of my photos are black and white and most are colored but....do you mix the two or do you do two separate albums??
I was thinking of maybe doing a large 12x12 for all the colored and candids and stuff. Then I was thinking of an 8x8 or 10x10 if they have them for the sweet black and white ones.
Any thoughts?
I think I would do what you are thinking and separate them...although if there are some great shots in B&W I would probably use a few of those in the big 12x12 one (unless they are duplicates of the same shot you have in color).
I love the candid, fun shots you got of your sister. Mine are all so posed, I would have loved some like that to get a better "feel" of the day and how I was feeling.
Maybe you should do a girls weekend at the beach with all your friends to get your wedding albums done? ;~)
Oooh! Now there's an idea!!! :-)
I know Sophie also doesn't have hers started either!
It would have to be a Looong weekend!!!
Well at least we'd all get started on them right?
I think it would be fun to see everybody's wedding photos anyway. And hear all about each of our special days.
I guess if we didn't get them done well....we will just have to make more plans! :-)
