Groovy Baby...70's party pages

So first of all, these photos are almost 5 years old...so that's how on top of my scrapbooking I am! I'm glad I waited to do these pages though...how perfect is the Mellow line of paper from Basic Grey?

Okay...I'm a huge Brady Bunch fan, so I had to include them on the invite!

This is the invite I created for said 70's event!

...Now check out my outfit! Far out man!!! My husband totally freaked out my niece with his afro. I think this year we are going to do a Totally 80's party for our 35th birthday.

How cool are those!? I loved the Brady Bunch. I just happen to see a bit of an episode a couple weeks ago and Mr. Brady's shirt was unbuttoned 1/2 way down his chest! I was a bit mortified but I guess that was the style!

That is so cool!
Love the outfits and the theme. 80s parties are awesome too, I have some of those pictures laying around somewhere...

Foxy lady!
Looks like you had a really swell party! What 70's food & decorations did you come up with?
Cool cats there! (Ha!)

Decorations: Got a lot of funky stuff at Goodwill. Patchwork orange and brown curtains, ugly 70's wall hanging of an owl, 70's plates to serve food on, beaded curtian for the front door, my parents still had an 8 track player I used to "decorate"the food table, along with a rotating disco light and some misc 70's decor.

Food: I don't remember much of what people brought. Fondue for sure, lime jello salad, I had pop rocks for the kids. Instead of a cake I had a big pile of "brownies."

We also played Brady Bunch trivia!

What do you mean "my parents still had an 8 track player", how else would we listen to those groovy tunes that were available on eight track!
