Earlier today I was rearranging my layouts in an album and realized some of the pages might be better suited in a different album (like the Nature page posted below). I was curious to see how other scrapbookers organized their pages, so I created this poll at 2 peas. Here are the results as of almost 9 pm:
After giving it some thought, I have decided to start individual albums for each kid. I'll include their birthdays and any other page that is all about them. This just seems to make sense to me. If anyone reading this has any insight, I would love to hear it...is anyone still reading this blog?

Ok, I took your poll! :-)
I too have wondered what others do b/c I take soooo many photos that it often times seems daunting to get all of those pages done and in one album.
What I do is I have an individual album for each of my kiddos for their first year of life and all their firsts. Then I have a family album. But, I love doing themed albums. I tend to get those done more often than the others.
In fact I am still doing pages of Hunter from the Hospital. YIKES!!!
I also am organizing my craft room. I spent last night doing that. Tonight I painted.
Anyway, I sold my old craft table on Craig's list and was able to purchase some of the organizing units from TARGET. I dunno if you have seen them in the scrap isle?? They are white and are cubes with different options for paper and such.
Gotta have you over to help look at it to give me some ideas.
Yes, I have seen those units at Target. I have looked them over several times, but until I am set up better, I won't really have a place for them. Right now my craft space is kind of mis-matched. I loved my set up in the garage before we moved. I feel so crammed in this small room, but hey, I'm just glad to have a space to call my own (even if it is messy most of the time)...work in progress, right!
So is mine, I am slowly trying to remedy that.
I think a little mismatch is charming.
I like the Target organizers so far but upon opening up the actual like desk top part of it I noticed it wasn't very deep. It's plenty wide from left to right. We'll see. I guess I'll have to spread out all my stuff that way instead of in front of my pages. KWIM?
Ideally I would like to add on more but they are $25 a box. I am greatful though for what I have.
I can't wait to paint the walls, I already have a color picked out from Miller paint. It's kind of an apple green. Hmmm...hard to describe over typing. Anyway, my couch in there is a lovely Shabby Chic cotton candy PINK!!!!! Well, it's slipcovered. I love it!
I am looking for a pretty chandelier to go in there too.
They are so spendy, got any resources. I know you were looking for one for Natalie at one time?
I saw one at Target for $39.oo but I didn't get it b/c lack of funds and wasn't sure if it's quite what I wanted.
Ok, this is beginning to be rather lengthy sorry...
maybe I'll just email you or something! Ha! :-)
Oh, I am so jealous...you have room for a couch in your scrapbook room!!! and a pink one too! Major jealousy vibes coming your way!!! As far as a chandelier goes, I think Lamps plus has the cuetest shabby chic ones, just like the one you have in Hailey's room, only pink...but it is about $160. Pottery barn teen or kids (I forget which) has a really cute one but it is $$$. I think either Home Depot or Lowes has a similar one for less, Target has one in the girl's room decor section too. I have seen them around here and there. Some are cuter than others.Good luck and take some photos so I can live vicariously through you!
